Pickup point

The exact spot where a traveller joins the group transport. The most asked question on the morning a trip starts.

What is Pickup point?

A pickup point is a place a traveller can stand at, not a town. "Delhi" is a city; "Majnu ka Tilla bus stand, gate 2" is a pickup point. Large groups often have several, and each traveller is assigned one.

Vague pickup points cost departures their first hour. Every minute the bus waits for someone looking for it on the wrong side of a flyover is a minute taken from the first day's plan.

On a live trip

Assign one pickup point per traveller on the roster, show it in the traveller's app with a map pin, and run the first headcount by pickup point so you know who is missing from where.
