For trek operators
Trek operations software for batch departures
On a trek, a missed headcount is not an inconvenience, it is a search. Rahi makes the safety routines your trek leaders already follow faster, and makes them visible to the base office. It handles the trek after it is sold, so it sits alongside whatever booking or CRM tool you use today.
Sound familiar?
- The same trek is re-typed for every weekend batch.
- Headcounts at each camp are done from memory.
- Permit IDs are collected over chat and get lost.
- The office only knows what is happening when the leader calls.

What should trek operations software do?
Trek operations software should run the batch after it is booked: a reusable plan for each trek, a roster per batch, headcounts at every camp, privacy-respecting location for the leader and a reliable SOS path. Rahi covers these and works alongside the booking or CRM tool you already use.
- Template per trek, departure per batch.
- Check-ins at every camp and transfer.
- Trip-window location and two-tap SOS.
Questions from trek operators
Does Rahi work offline on treks?
Not at launch. The traveller app needs a network connection to load updates, which matters on high-altitude treks. Offline access to the itinerary and documents is on our roadmap. Until then, trek leaders should brief travellers on the plan before the group enters low-network zones.
How do headcounts and check-ins work?
For any itinerary item, such as a 7:00 AM bus, the captain runs a check-in and sees a live count like "32/35 boarded" with the names of who is missing. Travellers can check themselves in from the app. Ops managers can see check-in status for every active departure from the dashboard.
How is Rahi different from a travel CRM?
A travel CRM helps you sell a trip: leads, quotes and bookings. Rahi helps you run the trip after it's sold: who is on which bus, in which room, who has checked in, who still owes money and who pressed SOS. Rahi is designed to sit alongside the CRM or booking tool you already use.
